Compensation: We provide paid training with no prior experience necessary, starting at $20.00/hour.

Responsibilities of the Special Education School Transport Driver:

  • Safely transport students to and from school and activities.

  • Ensure timely arrival at destinations.

  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety.

  • Conduct child checks after each route.

  • Utilize navigation tools for efficient route planning.

  • Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained.

  • Maintain accurate mileage and maintenance records.

  • Interact professionally with students, parents, and staff.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of driving experience without breaks or gaps, with no more than one moving violation during that period.

  • No DUI/DWI convictions on your driving record.

  • Ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical.

  • A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

  • Must be at least 23 years old.

  • Valid driver's license required.
