Executive Assistant to the CEO

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (In-Person or Hybrid)
Reports to: President & CEO, Unreached
Compensation: $65,0000 - $80,000 annually + benefits (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview

The Executive Assistant to the CEO provides high-level administrative, operational, and relational support to ensure the effectiveness of the organizations leadership. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic, faith-driven environment.

Working closely with the President & CEO, this person will manage scheduling, communications, travel, and ministry coordination. This will help Unreached stay focused on its mission to plant churches and empower leaders across Asia and among unreached people groups.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and servant-hearted. The candidate must be able to anticipate needs, maintain discretion, manage complex logistics, and represent the organizations values with excellence in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
  • Manage the President & CEOs calendar, appointments, and travel logistics with excellence and confidentiality.
  • Prioritize and organize multiple competing demands for the CEOs time, adjusting gracefully to changing priorities.
  • Prepare materials and briefings for meetings and presentations.
  • Handle correspondence (emails, letters, and calls) with professionalism and warmth, drafting and editing as needed.
  • Record meeting notes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records and archives for the executive office.
Organizational Coordination
  • Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and staff, board members, donors, churches, and other ministry partners.
  • Support project management for initiatives related to church engagement, leadership development, and communications.
  • Help coordinate domestic and international travel for ministry partners and field leaders.
  • Provide logistical support for board meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Ensure strong internal communication and collaboration across departments.
Donor & Partner Relations
  • Draft and edit donor communications and progress updates.
  • Support stewardship and follow-up for key relationships initiated by the CEO.
  • Manage donor, church, and partner databases with precision.
  • Assist in preparing the CEO for high-level meetings with major donors, pastors, board members and international leaders.
  • Coordinate special visits or hosting opportunities for ministry guests.
Administrative Operations
  • Manage files and confidential information with integrity and care.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, reimbursements, and related administrative tasks.
  • Help maintain compliance with nonprofit documentation, board reporting, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and efficiency across the executive office.
Qualifications
Required
  • Minimum 35 years of executive-level administrative experience (nonprofit, ministry, or corporate).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and CRM/database systems (EveryAction experience a plus).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities gracefully.
  • Professionalism, and a servant-hearted attitude in all interactions.
  • Commitment to the mission, vision, and faith values of Unreached.
Preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in nonprofit administration or global/ministry support.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and familiarity with missions or Asia-based ministry work.
  • Understanding of church partnership models and donor engagement.
