Harborview Medical Center - 5NJB Neurosciences has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-time Days Program Coordinator-for Sports Medicine.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week)
  • Day Shift
  • Monday- Friday 7:30am-5:00pm

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Review and prioritize incoming referrals from multiple sources using their knowledge of each physicians specialized skill set
  • Triage incoming referrals to assure the appropriate specialist will be reviewing referrals
  • Handle intake of each referral requests, ensuring complete information is received and entered into the electronic medical record system in a timely manner
  • Schedule initial patient appointments either in person or via Telemedicine based on provider and patient preference
  • Coordinates appointments for the patient at the appropriate facility and assists with urgent insurance authorization or financial assistance
  • Manage and resolve a high volume of phone inquiries and messages
  • Review appointment follow-up requirements and expectations with patients. Educate them to ensure adequate understanding of the purpose of each appointment and follow-up recommendations
  • Offer financial assistance to self-pay and underinsured patients. Provide them with the necessary steps to apply for financial counseling
  • Serve as a primary program contact to other departments, patients, providers outside facilities
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty. OR
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration

Pay Range Minimum: $47,724.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum: $68,244.00 annual
