Our onsite Program Management team in Chicago, IL is looking to add a driven and collaborative Assistant Project Manager -Terminals and Concourses in support of a multi-billion-dollar airport capital Redevelopment Program at OHare International Airport. This position allows for the opportunity to be a major contributor to the growth of one of the busiest airports in the world as part of the program management team.

Reporting directly to the Program Project Manager, your responsibilities will include partnering with client representatives and management of the appointed Construction Manager At-Risk (CMR). Youll support the Project Managers with stakeholder coordination, interface management, design and construction oversight, value engineering, reporting, problem solving, risk assessments, preparation of presentation materials and day-to-day project and technical management of activities.

Youll assist with the preparation of project details in various phases, provide technical support to Project Managers with design project delivery methods, contract packages, and project execution plans. Youll interface projects with the Diversity Equity and Inclusion team, assist in managing the design of multi discipline projects, assist with the technical review of design and construction documents, assist with development of the project schedule, and development of design and soft costs, the preparation of the Task Order Service Request documentation for assigned projects and by supporting resolution or responses to Requests for Information.
* Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction
* 8+ years experience as an Assistant Project Manager at an Engineering, Environmental, or Construction organization
* Experience on projects with a minimum construction value of $100 million
* Related design and construction project management experience with building projects
* Working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
* Experience with vertical design and construction projects
* Ability to work onsite full time at OHare International Airport with the program management team

Ideally, Youll Also Have:
* Experience with airline data systems, building management systems, MEPFP systems
* Experience with BIM modeling
* Experience working on Aviation project management teams
* Experience working on alternate delivery contracts
* PMP, DBIA Professional, Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification

This position will be as part of a joint venture team and the selected candidate will be hired by Jacobs, one of the JV or teaming partners.
