Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for new product development, product line growth and the day-to-day management of initiatives within the product line. The Product Manager is directly responsible for the financial performance of the product line.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Define and articulate product vision and strategy.
- Create, maintain and communicate product roadmaps.
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Manage product line and individual product P&L.
- Establish, monitor and report on product performance to the organization.
- Create and present business cases for new products, initiatives, and features.
- Serve as the voice of the merchant to ensure the development of market driven products.
- Define and articulate product and business requirements.
- Partner with product owners to create user stories.
- Create, manage and support projects for new product development and product improvements/enhancements.
- Develop and implement go-to-market plans in coordination with product marketing from product positioning and pricing to support and distribution.
- SME for internal and external product communication.
- Commercialization of new products, enhancements and features.
- Conduct competitive research to determine new market opportunities and positioning strategies.
- Develop and recommend build, buy or partner strategies.
- Bachelors degree, preferably in business, information technology or related area.
- Knowledge and experience in the card brand /payment processing industry preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., generative AI, data analysis AI) to inform product strategy, accelerate market research, or streamline requirements documentation is a strong plus.
- Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile development environments.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects with limited management oversight, including timelines, tasks, teams, group dynamics, etc.
- Ability to contribute effectively within a fast paced, fluid environment.
- Strong organizational, project management, presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to effectively manage multiple moderate-sized projects and priorities at the same time.
- Willingness to do what it takes to ensure the team accomplishes its goals.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
