One of our largest and most reputable utilities clients in New York City is currently looking for a Demand Response Systems Analyst to join the Demand Response group within the Clean Energy organization. The mission of the team is to work with customers to help reduce electric consumption within the five boroughs of New York City as well as Westchester County. The team utilizes a Demand Response management software tool to organize and track different issues / deliverables. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for overseeing technical issues to the system and managing the que, working on anywhere between 20-30 issues at any given time. This is not a proprietary system, even though it is highly customized to our clients specifications, and therefore it is the responsibility of this Systems Analyst to work directly with the third-party provider to address issues or concerns.

The Systems Analyst will also work directly with internal cross-functional teams including the Quality Assurance team, so it is pivotal that this person has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders. 50% of the role will involve communicating with third party vendors / contractors and internal teams and the other 50% will involve managing the que, overseeing communication through the system and pushing Demand Response issues along to completion. This is a hybrid role and the Systems Analyst will be expected to be in the clients Manhattan office 3 days per week. - Utilities / Clean Energy industry experience
- Background working with APIs
- 2+ years of hands-on technical project management / systems analyst experience
- Background working on and overseeing a technical system or software
- Experience working with databases (MS Excel, SQL, etc.)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
