JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Florida medical license
  • Board: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • DEA: Active DEA Certification
  • Certifications: As applicable (BLS, ACLS)
  • Experience: Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery required
  • Other Qualifications: Must provide case logs (past 12 months only, HIPAA compliant/de-identified); NPDB report within 3 months
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform inpatient consults, surgical cases, and pre & postoperative rounding
  • Collaborate with APPs for consult notes and progress documentation (surgeon must add and cosign)
  • Provide weekend coverage for rounding and emergent OR cases (approx. 1 weekend/month)
  • Participate in night
