Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction

Our client is a reputable Miami-based general contractor specializing in delivering high-quality commercial projects, including office spaces, retail environments, and restaurants. Known for their commitment to detail, client service, and timely delivery, they have built a strong track record in South Florida's competitive construction market.
Job Description- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and overseeing all phases of construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
- Prepare project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and help prepare progress reports
- Support in resolving on-site challenges and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders

The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in commercial construction, preferably with office, retail, or restaurant projects. A strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, this individual thrives in a collaborative team environment and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
