Position SummaryHybrid: 2 days in NYC HQ, 3 days remote.
Lead Foundations inaugural PMO. Manage cross?department projects focused on strategic growth, operational efficiency, and process improvement. Design and implement project management frameworks, tools, and training to improve organizational efficiency, alignment, and outcomes.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Manage complex, cross?departmental projects from initiation through close?out, ensuring on time, within scope, and on budget alignment to objectives.
- Maintain oversight of project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Support rollout of new initiatives and operational enhancements.
- Assist in development of dashboards, reporting tools, and data?driven insights to improve decision?making.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve overall efficiency.
- Partner with departments to support development and implementation of project tracking, reporting, and accountability framework.
- Design and deliver staff training on project management principles, tools, and best practices tailored to nonprofit environments.
- Mentor staff to strengthen project planning, execution, and documentation skills.
- Foster a culture of monitoring, evaluation, learning, and collaboration across teams.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in project management and nonprofit operations.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelors Degree or higher in business administration, nonprofit management, public health, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management.
- Proven success implementing project management systems, standards, and tools across multiple teams.
- Excellent organizational skills, project management skills, meeting deadlines, and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team building experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and project management tools (e.g., Workday, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Preferred PMP or other relevant project management certification.
- Preferred experience with staff training on project management and tools/framework identification.
