Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting in surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room
- Maintaining sterile fields and adhering to infection control protocols
- Handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants
- Preparing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures
- Monitoring supplies and ensuring readiness for each operation
- Collaborating with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff for seamless care
- Maintaining accurate surgical counts and documentation
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures across multiple specialties
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure environments
- Ability to prioritize quickly and respond to the needs of the surgical team
- Strong organizational habits and attention to cleanliness and detail
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance
