Permanent OB/GYN Physician
Location: Silvis, Illinois
Schedule: Full-Time | Inpatient + Outpatient | Flexible Call Options
Compensation: Competitive salary + Commencement Bonus + Relocation

Position Overview:
Join a dedicated OB/GYN practice offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services in a supportive, mission-driven environment. Located steps from a state-of-the-art birthing center, this role offers a balanced practice with experienced staff and access to high-quality facilities.

Practice Highlights:
  • Serve a medically underserved population
  • Mix of OB & GYN: ~50% high-risk OB, ~30% C-sections
  • Modern birthing center: 16 LDRP rooms, Level II nursery
  • Adjacent outpatient clinic with 2 exam rooms and 1 procedure room
  • Flexible call schedule (details discussed at interview)
  • EMR: Cerner (transitioning to EPIC in 2025)
Scope of Practice:
OB Care:
  • High- & low-risk pregnancy management
  • C-sections, VBACs, 3rd/4th degree repairs
  • OB ultrasound (interpretation & performance)
  • FHR monitoring: NST/CST/FSE
GYN Procedures:
  • Office: IUDs, LEEP, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryo
  • Minor: laparoscopic tubal, chromopertubation, LOAs
  • Major: ovary removal, ectopic pregnancy, cystectomy
Candidate Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (BC within 1 year if BE)
• Active IL license or eligibility
• NRP certification
• Documented proficiency in required OB/GYN procedures
