As an Associate Clinical Leader, you will play a crucial role in supervising, managing, and training Clinical Directors within your designated market. You will be responsible for achieving center performance objectives, managing profit and loss (P&L), fostering growth, and nurturing the organizational culture. Though you will be accountable for overall clinical outcomes, your role will also involve direct patient care as a PCP and/or fulfilling other clinical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical operations and ensure the successful achievement of market earnings.
- Mentor and coach Medical Directors to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Facilitate talent development for PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors through practice leadership, individual meetings, and development plans.
- Foster a physician culture that aligns with ChenMed's core model and values.
- Participate in recruiting and interviewing clinical candidates.
- Establish strong relationships with payers, specialists, and community organizations.
- Monitor market culture and respond promptly to workplace concerns.
- Review and approve center-level referrals and support utilization authorizations.
Additionally, you may engage in quality and performance improvement initiatives, scorecard reviews, and training within ChenMed entities as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent clinical knowledge and experience in managed care delivery systems.
- Proficient in population risk management and chronic disease care management.
- Strong analytical and conflict management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.
- Preferred experience in a leadership role with Medicare or Medicaid populations.
- Current, active medical license in your state of employment.
- Experience with interdisciplinary teams in quality improvement initiatives.
Compensation:
$231,876 - $331,251 Salary
