Summary:
Manager Accountant takes ownership of general accounting for all Group, but mainly PSG, ensuring accurate accounting, financial records, and appropriate internal control, providing a lot of information on the company's profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. Analyze project's income and costs, profitability analysis, and expenditures analysis for the companies and the entire organization. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, finance, etc. Ensure a high-level accountant's performance with the resources available. Ensure the appropriate quality of accounting transactions and companies' financial processes. Analyzes financial information to help the company to make well informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Yes
- Make recommendations based on analysis and status of assets, liabilities, reserves, income, costs and expenses.
- Manage Tax compliance, and regulatory filing and assist with financial and tax audits
- Process improvement and efficiency focus, including internal control compliance assurance
- Analyze and recommend improvements on "AP / Treasury"; payments process, etc., improvement cash flow and working capital management
- Document and monitor process and internal controls
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting team or with other departments
- Responsible for Project Control Analysis, Cost Accounting, and execution, work in progress, and evaluation from finance perspective
- Ensure O2C and P2P accurate process execution, including inventory control
- AR and AP analysis and follow-up, including payment processing and control
- Analyze complex financial reports and records
- Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy
- Support budget and forecasting process
- Implement procedures, internal control, and policies
- Train and mentor junior staff
- Perform variances analyses and prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports
- Perform account reconciliations
- Maintain the general ledger, supported tax returns preparation, assisted audit preparations, and performed other accounting duties as assigned.
- Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field
- Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
- Other related financial/accounting duties as assigned.
- 3 days a week presential working in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale).
- Statistical - based on historical data, or budget or forecasting
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Requirements, Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accounting software and programs
- More than three years of general accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
- Hands on experience with financial projection analysis, including budget and forecasting skills. (historical
- or hard data and statistical analysis).
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments
- Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Strong understanding and knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting principles
- Experience in Quickbooks
- Must be able to pass a background, credit check, and drug screen
