LMRV is currently hiring for a Finance Assistant for our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong organization skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent customer service skills.
SUMMARY: Assist sales and finance department on all deals
SALARY: $17-$20 an hour, room to grow internally
SCHEDULE: Business hours, full time
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process paper work on each deal. Finance contracts, state and federal forms as well as corporate forms and documents completed thoroughly and accurately.
- Understand and assist in getting deals ready for delivery.
- Understand and perform capping duties when a deal is completed.
- Understand and comply with Federal, State and local regulations that affect the dealership and consumer.
- Verify all contracts are correct with bank approvals. Verify customer has insurance verification, all monies due were collected, driver's license copies, proof of income, and proof of residence if needed.
- No splitting commissions - any changes need to be approved by the GSM and Finance Director.
- Verify Red Flags on credit bureaus. If any say YES, they need to be addressed immediately. (See Red Flag worksheet). Verify documentation received. If not return to Finance Manager.
- All TEMP license plates are to be put in TUB report as soon as the deal delivers. (Very important)
- Out of state and nonresident deals must have documentation completed before customer takes delivery.
- Always verify license fee and taxes are correct.
- Assist in handling funding delays promptly.
- Keep a Finance Notebook with lender rates/programs, contact information, funding checklist, automatic approval worksheets, service contract rates, and any other pertinent information.
- Make sure all forms are stocked and current. Order additional forms from receptionist. Each location is responsible for their own forms.
- Communication with Finance Manager. Write notes or email any information or changes that occur on deals.
- Coversheets , Trade ACV sheet, Credit Application and Privacy Notices to be completed by salesperson before deal comes in the Finance Dept. Verify this has been done.
- Trade In's -Registration, title and miles were received. Verify YEAR/MAKE/MODEL/MILES.
- Any discrepancies on trade-in STOP? Address with sales manager and/or title clerk.
- Any missing items must be addressed with the finance manager(s) promptly.
- Assist sales manager in inputting customer information, credit reports, Dealer Track and CUDL.
- Roll Backs - assist in completing Roll Back worksheet. Verify deposit refunded, void any Temp. plate that may have been issued, make sure Sales Manager signs Roll Back worksheet.
- May be required to go to RV show to assist Sales Dept.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or GSM.
- Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Work together as a team to handle situations that may arise.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
