Internship Overview:
We are seeking motivated students to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program in Accounting and Finance. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience across a variety of business functions, offering a unique opportunity to see how financial operations support the delivery of energy services to our customers. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our business.
Available Departments May Include:
Accounting - financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, and internal controls
Corporate Finance - capital planning, treasury functions, and long-range financial forecasting
Budgeting & Planning - development, monitoring, and analysis of operating and capital budgets
Rates & Pricing - analysis of electric utility rates, regulatory compliance, and cost-of-service studies
What You'll Do:
• Assist teams with financial analysis, reporting, and project support
• Work with accounting systems to prepare reports, reconciliations, or budget documents
• Perform research to support decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the utility

Additional Information:
• Internships begin on May 18, 2026
• Interns will work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks
Position Requirements
Qualified candidates must:
• Be pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Math or a related field of study
• Have completed their first year at a 2-year college/university (transfer program) or 4-year college/university
• Be enrolled as a full-time student Fall 2026
• Successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen if selected for this position
Salary Ranges:
Rising Sophomore: $17.00 per hour
Rising Junior: $18.00 per hour
Rising Senior: $19.00 per hour
