CDL-A OTR Truck Driver | Flexible Home Time | $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
Oriole Transportation is seeking experienced Class A CDL over-the-road drivers to join our growing team. With steady freight, flexible home time, and strong support, we offer a driving career where you’re treated with respect and rewarded for your hard work.
Position Highlights
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
$500 after your first dispatched load
$500 after 30 days of active employment
Home Time Flexibility – We’ll work with your schedule to get you home when you need it
Operating Area: Primarily east of I-35, with nationwide routes available
Weekly Mileage:
Average: ~2,000 miles
Top drivers: 2,300–3,000+ miles
Average Length of Haul: 400 miles
Freight & Routing
100% No-Touch Freight
50–60% drop & hook
40–50% live unload
No Forced NYC Dispatch – Drivers are never required to run to NYC or the five boroughs
Compensation & Incentives
Weekly Pay: $1,191 – $1,401 (gross average)
Performance Bonus: Up to an additional 3 CPM for safety, miles, and productivity
Detention Pay: $12.50/hour after 2 hours
Layover/Breakdown Pay: $100 per day
Equipment & Support
Assigned 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth trucks
All trucks are automatic and can be taken home
24/7 operations support – all shifts are empowered to assist drivers
Orientation & Onboarding
Paid 3-Day Orientation
Transportation provided to orientation
Get paid while completing onboarding and training
Driver Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum of 3 months recent tractor-trailer experience
21 years or older
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (urine and hair)
Experience using electronic logs preferred
