Our teams of compassionate pediatric experts help children with medically complex, developmental, behavioral, educational, or other needs learn the skills they need to thrive. We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy, as well as augmentative and alternative communication.

As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) , you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help children with a variety of developmental, communication, and medical needs. You'll play an important role in supporting therapy sessions, encouraging progress, and empowering children to reach their communication goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Carry out treatment plans designed to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and social interaction skills.

  • Support children in developing communication skills in their natural environments, such as home, daycare, or school.

  • Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote carryover of therapy strategies in daily routines.

  • Monitor and document each child's progress, maintaining accurate and timely daily notes and reports.

  • Prepare therapy materials and assist in implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems or other assistive technology as directed.

  • Communicate regularly with supervising SLPs and team members to ensure coordinated, family-centered care.

  • Maintain consistent communication with families regarding scheduling and progress updates.

  • Complete accurate documentation aligned with provided services and company standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program required

  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) required

  • Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

  • A genuine passion for helping children and families reach their communication goals is essential
