Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care teaching hospital in an Interventional Radiology unit402 total staffed bedsHandles procedures with C-Arm, contrast, and biopsiesCerner is used for chartingDay shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating days offWeekend call every 6 weeks and one weekday call every other weekLate stay and additional call requirements based on staffing needsParking available on-site for overnight and weekendsDuties include performing a range of interventional radiology, angiography, and special procedures using advanced technologyScrubs are providedOrientation includes up to 12 hours of online modules and potential additional training during orientation as neededLocal candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rateReturn staff must be separated from previous employment for at least one year to return as a travelerMust be open to a potential non-interview offer process Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent Interventional Radiology/Angiography/Special Procedure experience requiredMust have completed at least 1 prior travel assignmentCurrent BLS and ARRT or ARDMS certification requiredCardiac Interventional (CI) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) certification requiredAdvanced certification such as Vascular Interventional, Cardiac-Interventional, or Cardiovascular preferred but not requiredACLS and ARRT Advanced certification preferredStrong skills in C-Arm operation, contrast administration, and biopsiesExperience with Cerner EMR preferredLicense required if applicable Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-643297.
