Job Description/n

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of recent IR/Angio/Special Procedure experience and required certifications for a day shift position.

/n /n Responsibilities/n

- Work in a short-term acute care teaching hospital in an Interventional Radiology unit
- 402 total staffed beds
- Handles procedures with C-Arm, contrast, and biopsies
- Cerner is used for charting
- Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating days off
- Weekend call every 6 weeks and one weekday call every other week
- Late stay and additional call requirements based on staffing needs
- Parking available on-site for overnight and weekends
- Duties include performing a range of interventional radiology, angiography, and special procedures using advanced technology
- Scrubs are provided
- Orientation includes up to 12 hours of online modules and potential additional training during orientation as needed
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
- Return staff must be separated from previous employment for at least one year to return as a traveler
- Must be open to a potential non-interview offer process

/n /n Requirements/n

- Minimum of 2 years recent Interventional Radiology/Angiography/Special Procedure experience required
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
- Current BLS and ARRT or ARDMS certification required
- Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) certification required
- Advanced certification such as Vascular Interventional, Cardiac-Interventional, or Cardiovascular preferred but not required
- ACLS and ARRT Advanced certification preferred
- Strong skills in C-Arm operation, contrast administration, and biopsies
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- License required if applicable
