The work setting for this position is primarily onsite at our hospital, where teamwork is essential and innovation is encouraged. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless care delivery. Our facility features state-of-the-art medical technology and resources that enhance efficacy in diagnosing and treating patients. As you adjust to the demands of the role, you can expect a blend of indoor clinical work and occasional hospital rounds. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough routine and preventive healthcare services, which encompass physical exams, health screenings, immunizations, and health assessments tailored to the needs of individuals and families. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions with a focus on developing treatment protocols that adhere to best practices and clinical guidelines. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans by considering patient history, lifestyle choices, and potential barriers to adherence. Work collaboratively with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and referrals, ensuring optimal health outcomes. Maintain precise patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our advanced electronic health record (EHR) system. Educate patients and their families on various topics, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management strategies, to empower them in their health journeys. Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Family Medicine PA, you will serve a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients. Our team values comprehensive family care, addressing not only immediate medical concerns but also promoting long-term health strategies. You will encounter a wide variety of cases, allowing you to engage with patients from different backgrounds and with unique health challenges. Qualifications
A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required. Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). A valid and unrestricted Florida PA license, or the ability to obtain one, is essential. Possession of a DEA license with prescriptive authority, or readiness to secure one, is required. Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills, demonstrating a patient-first approach. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with patients and healthcare teams. Preferred Experience
While a minimum of two years of experience in family medicine or primary care is required, candidates with experience in outpatient clinical settings will be highly valued. Prior involvement in patient education and chronic disease management is preferred, as this role focuses on holistic care delivery. Compensation and Benefits
Schedule:
Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible scheduling options available to promote work-life balance. Compensation:
A competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 per year, along with performance-based productivity bonuses. Benefits:
