Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, ensuring the highest standard of care.

Execute procedures and minor surgical interventions, such as suturing and wound care, under the supervision of experienced attending physicians.

Engage patients in meaningful education regarding their health conditions, treatment modalities, and necessary lifestyle adjustments to encourage preventive care.

Accurately document patient interactions, treatment processes, and follow-up care in our electronic health record system to maintain compliance and support continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, including children and adults presenting with various acute injuries and illnesses, such as sprains, infections, allergic reactions, and minor fractures. Our center serves individuals who require prompt medical attention and prioritize their health without the need for emergency room visits. Your efforts in patient assessments and treatment implementations will significantly impact their immediate health outcomes and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.

Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Florida.

Strong clinical acumen with the ability to work autonomously within your scope of practice.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills tailored to build rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in an urgent care, emergency, or primary care setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from
