ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Med SurgDiscipline: RNStart Date: 02/09/2026Duration: 14 weeks48 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelOpportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • 36 or 48 hour guaranteed schedule • Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry monitoring • Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 38-bed unit with average daily census of 33 • Care for adolescent to geriatric patient population • Work every other weekend with floating to similar units required • No call requirements • Holiday work required based on assignment period (1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment, 2 of 3 if three holidays occur) • Navy blue scrubs required • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Must have Epic charting system experience (required) • Work with Pyxis medication system and SBAR communication • BLS certification required • Minimum 1 year experience required, first-time travelers accepted • Must handle medical surgical diagnoses, telemetry monitoring, wound care, IV management, blood product administration, chest tubes, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions • 24 hours of orientation provided • Full compliance required to start on time Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical surgical unit featuring modern telemetry monitoring capabilities and advanced medical technology.
