ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia CareDiscipline: RNStart Date: 02/02/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelOpportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with rotating start times as needed • No weekends, no call, and no holiday requirements • 2 years of experience required with critical care experience mandatory • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; CCRN and TNCC preferred • Level I Trauma Center experience required • Must pass Relias EKG exam • Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract • Float within scope to PACU or PreOp units as needed • Scrub color: Navy Blue • Charting system: EPIC (experience preferred) • Care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations • Recover patients from neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant surgeries • Does not recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants • Required skills: dysrhythmia recognition/management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, care of ventilated patients • Experience with drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia required • High acuity PACU area with 80% of patients being admitted to hospital after procedures • Night shift must learn preop patient workup procedures • No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract • Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a Magnet and Teaching Hospital with Level I Trauma Center designation, featuring 1,273 total staffed beds.
