Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Lead land development projects, focusing on stormwater management and site plan design.
• Provide expert testimony before planning boards, zoning boards, and other land use agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local land use regulations.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and engage in constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New Jersey.
• A Master's in Civil Engineering (MCE) or Master's in Environmental Engineering (MEng) is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in New Jersey.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development, particularly in stormwater management and site plan design.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills, with the ability to deliver professional testimony.
• Experience working with local planning and zoning boards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and accept constructive criticism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
On-Site: New Jersey
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
Benefits:
• Health Insurance:
- Eligibility after six months of employment.
- Option to self-pay for health insurance.
- After one year, a full freight for an individual will be covered.
- Family members can take the rest of the family price as a pre-tax deduction, with the employer covering costs.
- Estimated cost for individual health insurance ranges from $600 to $1,000 per month.
- Dental insurance is also provided.
• Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with a 4% employer match. The professional must contribute at least 5% to qualify for the match.
• Holidays: Six to seven holidays per year.
• Vacation Policy: No vacation time during the first year. After the first year:
- Two weeks of vacation.
- Three weeks after five years.
- Four weeks after ten years.
• Sick Time: Sick time provided in accordance with New Jersey regulations.
