Job Description: Innovative Agriculture/Civil/Environmental Engineer

Pancopia is developing disruptive technology that can drastically decrease animal mortality and boost farm profits. Our product is currently being tested full-scale at a swine farm and producing excellent results. We are expanding to onboard an experienced civil/environmental engineer to help in refining our technology and placing it at operating swine facilities. 

This position requires strong project and construction management skills.  The ideal candidate would also have strong biological wastewater treatment process skills. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

·      Project management and organizational skills: budgets, timelines, employees, resources, and project schedules

·      Proven ability to lead and manage projects

·      Design engineering abilities

·      Strong Leadership, problem solving mentality, ability to motivate & guide team, being able to be an adaptable self-starter, while mentoring to develop and grow team members

·      Conducting and/or using research on end-user experience and needs, current market trends and general functionality

·      Product development life cycling, from concept to final development

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint & computer-aided design tools, or other data analysis/presentation tools

·      Documenting processes and presentation of progress reports to all relevant stakeholders

·      Communication skills to oversee technical staff and working with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers

·      Strong engineering principles and knowledge, also an understanding of the current challenges of agriculture.

Salary Range

·      Competitive, based on experience and expertise

Education & Training

·      Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering field.

o  Agriculture Engineering, Civil, Environmental, Biological Systems

·      Professional Engineering (PE) License (highly preferred)

Required Experience

·      8-15 years' experience (strongly preferred agricultural experience)

·      Project management experience

·      Site and construction experience

Job Type: Full-time
