Accounting Specialist Job Details:

* Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM, OT as needed
* Pay Rate:$20-24/hr paid weekly

Accounting Specialist Job Description:

* Handle accounts payable (AP) by recording, tracking, and managing expenses.
* Oversee and maintain purchase orders (POs) to ensure accurate tracking.
* Process, enter, and pay invoices, verifying and securing appropriate approvals.
* Build positive donor relationships and manage donation intake processes.
* Record and reconcile donations within the CRM system accurately.
* Perform data entry, corrections, and detailed research tasks.
* Support audit preparation and assist in compiling financial reports.

Accounting Specialist Job Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience in accounting, AP processes, and managing donations.
* Strong proficiency in Excel, with advanced data management skills.
* Knowledge of accounting principles in a non-profit environment.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations.
* Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, with a servant heart for mission and nurturing believers.
