Assists with creating a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, while helping staff teach children and/or adults how to ski and/or snowboard. Starting wage between $36.00/hr. - $41.44/hr. depending on experienceREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESValid California driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to operate equipment as trainedMust be an effective communicator who acts as an ambassador of service for the Company internally to staff and externally to guests with respect and maturityCapacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and guest policies.Provide documentation of current membership status for a PSIA/AASI Level II Ski or Snowboard CertificationStrong technical skills needed for accurate daily reporting of Ski and Ride School (SRS) statistics.Extensive knowledge of the SRS operations, resort policies/procedures, teaching experience and management skillsCompletion of the On-Hill Skier and/or Snowboarder Certification, depending on disciplineCompletion of the required training checklistCompletion and passing of the discipline appropriate Clearance Card for each level of skill-based lessonsAble to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays at any of the BBMR resort locationsOffers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation and your ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.Snow Summit LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
