Why This Role MattersAs our Supply Chain Purchasing Agent, you’ll be the linchpin between our projects and the vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors that make them possible. Your work ensures projects stay on budget, on schedule, and exceed quality standards. You’ll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to source materials and equipment for specialty civil construction projects - like deep foundations, shoring systems, dewatering, and tunneling. What You’ll DoPlan and execute procurement strategies for materials, equipment, and subcontractor servicesNegotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with trusted vendorsMonitor project budgets and track material costs to keep projects on targetCoordinate logistics to deliver materials to urban and remote job sites efficientlyEnsure compliance with all legal, contractual, and safety requirementsTroubleshoot shortages, delays, or damaged goods to keep projects moving What We’re Looking For3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in civil or specialty constructionFamiliarity with construction materials like concrete, steel, shoring systems, dewatering equipment, and geotextilesStrong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with construction software (Procore, Viewpoint, ERP) and Microsoft OfficeAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Why You’ll Love Working HereCompetitive salary and performance bonusesHealth, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth and professional development opportunitiesBe part of a fast-growing, WBE-certified company delivering high-impact projects nationwide On-site work required; 100% in-office at Dundee, IL or Cape Coral, FL Still interested?
