What You'll Learn & Do: As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with an experienced agent in a mentorship capacity, gaining firsthand experience in various aspects of our business, including:
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Business Development:
  • Identifying and researching potential clients.​
  • Engaging with decision-makers, including C-suite executives, to communicate our services.​

Consultative Sales & Benefit Solutions:
  • Presenting and communicating insurance solutions effectively.​
  • Providing benefit consulting at both HR and employee levels.​

Client Relationship Management & Servicing:
  • Supporting client onboarding and ongoing service processes.​
  • Gaining exposure to best practices in client retention and satisfaction.​

Industry Networking & Strategic Partnerships:
  • Building relationships within the insurance and business community.​
  • Developing partnerships with brokers and other industry professionals.
What to Expect Mentorship: Each intern is paired with a mentor with at least two years of experience at Malden Solutions.​ Customized Learning Plan: Interns will define focus areas and establish a schedule balancing field-based and in-office activities.​ Hands-on Training: Access to our online training library, real-world client interactions, and exposure to industry-specific meetings and events.​ Professional Development: Participation in agency events, networking opportunities, and industry trainings.
