Their team is diverse, collaborative, and values both professionalism and personality.The OpportunityWe’re seeking an Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations across construction and real estate divisions. This is a client- and vendor-facing role that requires someone who is independent, organized, and confident navigating both QuickBooks and evolving software platforms. You’ll report to leadership but must be comfortable working autonomously and interfacing with project managers, foremen, and working closely with the company’s external accountant.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle bookkeeping: AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, insurance, and expense trackingMaintain accurate records for construction projects and real estate holdingsCollaborate with project managers to ensure job profitability and cost trackingPrepare financials for quarterly reviews and year-end audits with the external accountantSupport operational reporting, WIP schedules, and vendor communicationsAssist with software transitions for accounting purposesRequired Experience and Skills2+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experienceSolid understanding of debits, credits, and general accounting principlesProficiency in QuickBooks; Excel skills a plusAbility to work independently while collaborating with internal and external stakeholdersComfortable in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience in construction preferred Email resume to: sarah@maiplacement.com
