Play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the newly created 1st line credit function within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) organization.As a Credit Decisioning Unit (CDU) Vice President within the CCB organization, you will be responsible and play a key role in defining the risk appetite for the Lending Business, managing credit risk, ensuring sound lending decisions, and maintaining portfolio health. You will collaborate with key partners in the Credit Risk and Finance organizations to shape credit strategies that align with the business and banks financial goals. Job responsibilitiesSupport in building a robust platform and framework to be utilized at the highest level of Consumer and Community BankingEnsure the platform supports strategic initiatives and aligns with organizational goalsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementationDevelop strategies for optimizing lending processes and practicesImplement tools and methodologies to enhance lending efficiency and effectivenessIdentify and define governance structures and risk appetite for lending activitiesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policiesImplement standards and practices that enhance clarity and accountability and promote consistency and transparency across the departmentEnsure proper measurement tools are in place to assess the performance impact of key business initiativesContinuously evaluate the health and performance of the overall portfolio using established reportingRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills5+ years of experience in finance, data & analytics, strategy or program managementBachelor's Degree in business administration, management or a related fieldExperience in governance, risk management and compliance within the financial services industryExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and complianceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience in Business Banking or retail lendingFamiliarity with competitive analysis and market insightsProficiency in data analysis tools and softwareStrong problem-solving skills and strategic thinkingAbility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environmentTo be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
