We are a Firm where people truly believe in what they do and strive to achieve the highest standards of performance and success.We are seeking a Trademark Paralegal to join our team This Paralegal will assist Trademark attorneys and the practice group in various types of legal matters and provide assistance in preparing legal documents; research and compile data; prepare drafts of documents; maintain responsibility for files, etc.Key Responsibilities Include:·Manage US and Foreign Prosecution Filings.·Prepare and file trademark maintenance and renewal documents at the U.S. Trademark Office.·Prepare trademark status summary reports.·Prepare extension requests, statements of use, declarations of use and incontestability, renewal applications.·Prepare and record assignment documentation.·Prepare foreign filing cost estimates.·Compile documentation required for foreign filings.·Correspond with foreign associates on filing and prosecuting applications and renewing registrations.·Prepare and/or obtain documents for legalization.·Assist with recording trademarks with Customs and Border Protection.·Assist with registration, maintenance and transfer of domain names.·Prepare and file applications and related documents at the U.S. Copyright Office·Gather, organize, summarize and index documents from various sources.·Attendance and participation in meetings.·Preparation of documents and correspondence.Qualifications:·3+ years' experience in related area.·Organizational skills to work independently and meet deadlines in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions.·Communication skills to interact with all levels of internal staff, attorneys and management and external clients of the firm.·Analytical and critical thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding daily work.·Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.·Experience with CPIEducation:·Bachelors' Degree, Paralegal CertificationPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.Benefits: Our goal is to promote a work environment in which individuals have access to the resources they need to be their best both professionally and personally, which includes resources that encourage individuals to focus on their health and well-being.Below is a list of just some of the benefits we offer: comprehensive medical (PPO and HDHPs), dental and vision plans including coverage for domestic partners; life and AD&D insurance; short and long term disability insurance; tax-advantaged accounts for health care expenses, including FSAs and HSAs; FSAs for dependent care; health advocacy services; behavioral health and counseling resources for all family members; 401(k); profit sharing; pre-tax transit and parking program; backup dependent care; senior care planning support; resources for individuals with development disabilities and their caregivers; and paid holidays and other paid time off, including paid leave for new parents.
