Candidates must be barred in New York Role Details Start: ASAP Duration: Long-term, indefinite Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Location: Fully remote Pay Rate: Starting at $95 hourly, commensurate with experience Position Overview The ideal candidate will be a versatile, business-oriented attorney comfortable handling a wide range of corporate legal matters. This role involves providing legal support across litigation management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and commercial contracting. Responsibilities Oversee and manage outside counsel on litigation matters Assist with SEC filings and related corporate disclosures Advise on compliance, shareholder relations, and regulatory issues Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, primarily from the seller’s side Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams to provide practical, risk-based legal guidance Requirements Active license to practice law in New York 5+ years of relevant in-house or law firm experience Strong background in litigation management, SEC filings, compliance, shareholder relations, regulatory matters, and commercial contracting Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, adaptable approach LOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
