Position SummaryThis is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for standing up PMO capabilities from the ground up, promoting a culture of project excellence, and aligning initiatives with corporate strategy.The Director of Program Management Office (PMO) will oversee a project portfolio spanning technology, operations, finance, business transformation, and enterprise initiatives. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, influence stakeholders across all departments, and guide the evolution of the PMO into a strategic decision support function while promoting a culture of excellence and aligning initiatives with corporate strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesPMO Establishment & Strategic LeadershipPortfolio & Program ManagementProject Execution & OversightCoaching & Capability BuildingStrategic Evolution of the PMOQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).8+ years of progressive project and program management experience, including 3+ years leading a PMO or large-scale project function.Demonstrated experience standing up or maturing PMO capabilities in a matrixed environment.Experience leading both IT and business transformation initiatives.Strong understanding of hybrid delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).Proficient in Smartsheet or other project/portfolio management tools.PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification strongly preferred.Preferred ExperienceFinancial services industry, preferably banking or credit union organizationsExperience managing vendor or consultant-led projectsFamiliarity with strategic planning, enterprise PMO models, or decision support frameworksMust be able to pass a credit, criminal, and employment background check.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
