CLINICAL NURSE EXPERT LEAD

Summary Position Summary: Under limited supervision, in a hybrid role as the Clinical Nurse Expert (CNE) and Educator, CNE-Lead applies influence across the three spheres of patient/family, staff, and system to transform healthcare delivery. The CNE-Lead maintains up to date and evidence-based knowledge in area of expertise. Collaborates with other interdisciplinary health care professionals and service providers to ensure seamless, quality care across the continuum. Exemplifies the Professional Practice Model. A key success factor is the ability to work collaboratively with all levels within the organization, across the LifeBridge system, and with our community partners. This position encompasses clinical practice and education for their assigned units and across all clinical areas of Levindale. Education Discipline: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with MSN preferred. Minimum of three years’ experience in specialty, along with minimum 5 years RN experience in an Inpatient setting preferred. BSN's from CCNE accredited school. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Maryland Registered Nurse License American Heart Association CPR Certification ACLS Certification for Critical Care Specialty Certification optional (CNL, CNS, CNE) Professional organization participation encouraged Specialty Certification optional (NPD-BC)
