As Maryland's only Level 1 pediatric trauma center and state-designated pediatric burn ICU, the PICU cares for children up to 15 years of age with complex diagnoses including respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, and neonatal and pediatric ECMO. Our surgical services encompass extensive general, cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures. Learn more about our benefits here. https://jhh.mybenefitsjhhs.com/ Position Details: Role: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Lead Clinical Nurse Shifts: 12-hour Night Shift The Lead Clinical Nurse (LCN) provides guidance and direction to staff and acts in the absence of the Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager to oversee a clinical team during care delivery and unit operations. The LCN has the ability to lead others, assist in development & implementation of procedures for the unit, use principles of conflict resolution, recommend resource utilization, and implement performance management of staff Qualifications: BSN/MSN required Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of acute care RN work experience; pediatric critical care experience preferred ***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position. Salary Range: Minimum 43.93/hour - Maximum 68.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
