Construction Material Testing Technician

Selectek is partnering with a company located in Charlotte, North Carolina to fill a Construction Materials Testing Technician role to work with a company focused on infrastructure projects. Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct Expected Pay Range: $20 - $26 per hour, depending on certification and experience. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Schedule: Monday - Friday, First shift hours Required: 2 plus years of experience Performing test, general construction inspections, and observations according to project requirements. ACI Field Level 1 Certification (concrete testing) Experience with nuclear density gauge HS Diploma or equivalent Job Responsibilities: Perform construction observations, material testing and construction inspections for soil, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt Utilize nuclear density gauge Clean, maintain and calibrate equipment according to codes and standards Review civil and structural plans Submit daily reports In addition to these qualifications, candidates must hold active US citizenship or green card status.
