Beam topping was held in July 2025. The facility is expected to open in the second half of 2026.Three Trails Behavioral Hospital will:Serve children and adolescents, adults and seniors with innovative and evidence-based inpatient behavioral healthcare focused on individual needs and comfort.Create more than 200 new, full-time jobs including nurses, clinicians, therapists, technicians and administrative staff, when the facility is fully operational.Be located at the intersection of I-70 and Little Blue Parkway, adjacent to the Children’s Mercy Hospital Outpatient Clinics.Feature 120 licensed beds ready to meet the mental health needs of the surrounding community.Span more than 88,000 square feet, and will include an activity yard and gym.We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join our leadership team. This position provides professional level planning, reporting and analysis to support the goals and objectives of the organization; resolves conflicts to protect the organization’s assets; provides expertise and recommendations to support management decisions. Ensures HR activities are in compliance with State and Federal laws, licensing and accreditation bodies, and facility contracts. Oversees all HR functions including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training/orientation, employee relations, workers’ compensation and maintaining all personnel records in files and the HRIS system.We are currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Director to join our team. This position is responsible for executing Human Resource activities at the facility for all functional areas, (., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance, and serves as a professional resource for facility management on all HR related activities. Master’s Degree preferred.3 years management experience required, and 5 years of healthcare experience preferred.PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR. Working knowledge of administering wage/salary programs, benefits, workers compensation, recruiting/retention plans, training/staff development, and employee relations.
