Join us today and help shape the future of aerospace safety.Primary responsibilities: Coordinating the development of issue papersAssessing certification plans Developing certification approaches/strategies with the Federal Aviation Authorities (FAA), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical focal across the enterprise.Assisting in the development of technical briefs for domestic and foreign regulators Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.Resolves cross-functional technical issuesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer scienceLevel 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLevel 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLevel 5: 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience working 14 CFR Part 25 and EASA CS-25 aspectsExperience with regulatory agencies' procedures and processPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):Knowledge of integration, verification, and certification processesKnowledge of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs)Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
