Advance your engineering future with TeamGlobal.Requirements:#Role Summary*This position supports in-service safety and regulatory compliance activities by leading complex airworthiness and certification investigations across commercial aircraft programs. The role focuses on identifying systemic root causes of regulatory compliance issues and driving effective corrective actions that restore and maintain compliance throughout the aircraft lifecycle. This position operates with a high degree of independence while leading cross-functional teams and engaging senior leadership, certification authorities, and technical experts to ensure continued product safety.#Education & Job Requirements*You must have* A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.* A minimum of 9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical issues to a wide range of audiences.* Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior management and technical peers from external customers, including airlines and regulatory agencies.* The ability to lead, influence, and mentor a diverse group of engineers and non-engineers.* The ability to take initiative and lead cross-functional teams and complex projects.* The ability to take ownership of work activities and ensure they are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.* U.S. Person status as defined by export control regulations.#Preferred Skills*You will have* Working knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action tools such as 5-Whys, Fishbone, or similar structured investigation methods.* Experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as the Boeing Problem Solving Model or equivalent processes.* A minimum of 1 year of experience with commercial airplane operations, certification activities, safety requirements, or regulatory procedures.* Working knowledge of FAA regulatory compliance and Organizational Designation Authorization procedures per 8100.15.* A minimum of 1 year of experience working with the FAA or other regulatory agencies.* A minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial airplane systems design, analysis, or systems integration, including flight controls, hydraulics, avionics, or fuels.* A valid pilot's license.* An Airframe and Powerplant license.#Job Duties & Functions*You will be able* To lead complex, structured investigations related to regulatory compliance actions, voluntary disclosures, self-audit findings, and airworthiness non-compliances.* To guide functional engineering organizations through comprehensive root cause investigations that identify problem statements, systemic root causes, containment actions, actions to prevent recurrence, and actions to verify non-recurrence.* To coordinate closely with engineering teams, senior management, executives, and suppliers to ensure alignment on investigation status, risk, and resolution.* To collaborate with organizational authorization representatives to ensure investigation documentation meets regulatory expectations.* To partner with enterprise organizations to continuously improve investigation processes, tools, and governance models.* To communicate investigation status, findings, risks, and corrective actions clearly to senior leadership and key stakeholders.* To apply airplane-level systems thinking to complex technical, operational, and regulatory issues.* To support and reinforce a safety-focused culture by contributing to continuous improvement in airworthiness and compliance practices.Job Type: Temporary Post Date: 12/22/2025
