Architectural Designer

Your RoleAs a Gensler Designer with our team in Las Vegas, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for our incredible clients. With you as part of the team, our designs have never been so engaging.What You Will DoCollaborate on interior architecture and interior design projects that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and management of budgets and schedulesCoordinate with Interior Designers, Project Architects and Project Managers to deliver project milestonesProvide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for constructionProvide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design conceptsWork with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, consultants, and fabricators to meet overall project objectivesAssist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationEstablish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationshipsProvide guidance, mentorship and training to teammates as neededYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program6+ years of relevant (interior architecture for hospitality) professional experience, ideally inclusive of all phases through construction administrationProficient in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3D and other modeling software programsStrong knowledge of the design process, including FF+E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materialsOutstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideasKnowledge of Photoshop, Enscape, Illustrator, InDesign a plusFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentAbility to communicate design ideas and direction quicklyA quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentStrong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skillsDemonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; If possible, portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interviewLicensed/Registered Architect, NCARB, LEED GA or AP preferredDesign Technology at GenslerApplications we work with Design Authoring - Revit, Rhino, Autocad, NavisworksCollaboration - BIM360 Computational Design - Grasshopper, Dynamo Building Performance Simulation - Insight, Sefaira, Diva, Ladybug tools Visualisation – Vray, Enscape, Twinmotion, 3DSMax Graphics & Productivity - Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite Experiential – Unreal Engine, Unity Development – C#, Python **The base salary will be estimated between $80,000 - $95,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
