Senior Project Engineer

Are we the road to your future?We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Transportation Project Engineer to support our Southwest Region located in El Paso, TX. To be considered for this position, applicants musthave, at minimum, a licensed Texas P.E. and 15+ years of progressive transportation/roadway experience.This is an exciting opportunity to help continue to expand our services across the Texas Region and manage the operations of the Texas Engineering staff and win/manage projects. This position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, business development, and client contact. Additional activities include managing the design and delivery of projects profitably while being actively involved in design issues and troubleshooting.What you’ll be doing:Manage transportation projects to meet financial and technical requirementsRecruit, develop and retain El Paso staffPerforming contract negotiationsProject work planningSupervising the execution of workPrepare and deliver technical presentationsTechnical oversight and development of roadway design projectsAssist with statewide design deliveryWhat you need to have:B.S. or M.S. in Civil engineering from ABET accredited engineering program Licensed Texas P.E. 15+ years of progressive transportation/roadway experience5+ years of experience in management of engineering and support staffMust be proficient with OpenRoads DesignerPossess a strong understanding of project management The ability to manage AND assist in the production of design deliverablesExperience working with TxDOT and the El Paso areaAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
