Job DescriptionReporting to the Laboratory Analyst or Laboratory Supervisor, the Laboratory Technician will conduct registration of incoming samples, perform preparation of water, oil and gas samples to meet customer requirements, where instructed.Job RequirementsBachelor’s of Science in ChemistryKnowledge of GCMS an advantage.Broad general background knowledge of a range of Analytical Chemistry techniques an advantage.Safety conscious attitudeComputer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for working as part of a small team to ensure reservoir tracer log in and preparation is performed  accurately and to a high standard prior to data release to the client.Work in accordance with company Health and Safety procedures to ensure laboratory operations are conducted in a safe manner.Work according to the relevant laboratory quality standard to ensure sample preparation is performed in line with the most recent procedure, analytical method or work instruction.To take on any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.Liaise with Laboratory Analyst and Laboratory Supervisor to ensure client requirements are understood and met in full and to required timescale
