The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Mechanics who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair production machinery and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing assets. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Install, align, and test new or overhauled production equipment. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality procedures. Fabricate and modify parts using various shop tools and welding equipment. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial production machinery (e.g., conveyors, presses, pumps, robotics). Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
