This individual ensures that participants are transported to and from medical appointments, day centers, and other necessary destinations with care and professionalism.Salary and BenefitsPay Rate: $20.00 per hourHealth Insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiumVision and Dental Insurance26 Days Combined Paid Time Off:15 Vacation Days10 Sick Days1 Personal Day13 Paid Holidays403B Retirement PlanLong and Short Term DisabilityLife InsuranceFlexible Spending Account PlansLegal AssistanceWork-Life Balance Support: Comprehensive wellness programs and employee assistance resourcesResponsibilitiesSafely transport participants to and from medical appointments, community locations, and the day centerAssist participants in and out of the vehicle, ensuring comfort and safety at all timesMaintain vehicle cleanliness and perform regular safety checks on the interior and exteriorImmediately report any unusual incidents, client injuries, or vehicle accidents to the supervisorCommunicate effectively with the Supervisor of Drivers to meet participant needsClear snow and maintain safe access around vehicles during winter monthsSupport Day Center staff with local activities or errands as neededMaintain compliance with all transportation safety standards and organizational policiesMust be able to pass a fit test (position may include duties requiring a sealed face mask)Perform additional duties as assignedRequirementsValid Driver’s License from the state of residenceMinimum 5 years of safe driving experienceAbility to pass a DOT physical and complete DOT-mandated driver trainingPhysically capable of maneuvering and assisting participants using wheelchairsStrong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with older adults in a courteous and respectful mannerMandarin speaking required (not preferred)COVID-19 vaccination required (or valid exemption)Responsible, flexible team player committed to safety and careAbout UsTitan Placement Group is a permanent placement healthcare recruiting firm dedicated to connecting healthcare organizations with high-quality candidates.
