This hands-on role supports the Site Superintendent in maintaining safety, schedule, and quality throughout all project phases. The Assistant Site Superintendent is critical in coordinating trades, resolving field issues, and ensuring day-to-day site operations run smoothly. Learn more at www.paseoconstruction.com Key Responsibilities Support the Site Superintendent in the daily operations of an active jobsite.Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.Monitor site safety and quality control, conducting regular inspections.Assist with project scheduling and tracking progress against timelines.Manage material deliveries and site logistics.Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant jobsite.Assist with inspections and documentation for local authorities and project managers.Identify and help resolve field-level construction issues.Foster communication between field personnel, project management, and inspectors. Qualifications 3+ years of field construction experience, preferably in multi-story residential or commercial projects.Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes, and project specifications.Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.Proficient with basic construction technology and software (Procore, MS Office, etc.).Able to work MondayFriday with some weekend availability as needed.
