Job DetailsTemple Court in the Beekman Hotel is looking for a Bartender to join our Events team Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below: Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages Taking accurate beverage orders from guests Delivering beverages to guests in a timely manner; ensuring that all orders are presented and delivered correctly Being ready and willing to assist fellow team members to maintain the smooth operation of the event Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment, including buffets, bars, and service areas The ideal candidate will have the following: Ability to perform all technical service functions through the course of an event Experience with catering style service; ability to carry drinks and glassware on a serving tray Professional attitude that comes through in personal interactions and communications Has a sincere interest in the hospitality industry, food, and beverage Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time Lift up to 50 pounds of weight Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects What we can offer you: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance options for full time employees Paid Time Off, increases with length of service Daily family meal provided Team outings, trainings, and speakers Flex spending options (medical, transit, parking, dependent care) Bi-monthly restaurant dining vouchers ($720 annual value) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that are to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
