Learning Experience Developer

Position SummaryThe Education Design and Development Associate provides consultation and support services in instructional design, strategies, assessment, technology, and distributed learning for instructional development projects. As a member of Life Time University (the learning and education department of Life Time) the Education Design and Develop Associate will work cooperatively with the team to design and develop learning and practicing experiences to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities required for their professional success. The Education Design and Develop Associate will cooperatively create online learning modules, synchronous web-based training sessions, and instructor-led training. The Education Design and Develop Associate will design and develop facilitation guides, participant guides and assessments as well as supporting materials following an instructional design process.Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesApplies tested instructional design theories, practice and methodsCreates supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)Decides on the criteria used to assess learner performance and develop assessment instruments. Shares eLearning development best practices, ensuring compliance with development design standards, assisting where needed with audio, video and other media components.States instructional end goals and design content that matches themProduces mock-ups, prototypes, presentation materials and other creative LTU presentation tasksDelivers full quality assurance for all files, including ensuring that proofreading, spell-checking and proper procedures are followedProvides exercises and activities that enhance the learning processDevelops and demonstrates a working knowledge of our brands, and produces creative products that support and strengthen the educational needs of those brandsKeeps up-to-date with current software and technology and proactively brings recommendations for improvementsMinimum Required Qualifications Working knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum standards, and assessmentsAbility to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scriptsAbility to define objectives for programs and coursesAbility to design program assessments and meaningful course interactions to increase learning and retention that are tied to operational goalsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environmentSolid knowledge of course development software--Storyline experienceEducation:Bachelor's Degree in a related fieldYears of Experience:1 to 2 years experience in instructional design and development.
