Our team is proud to host events both large and small including social celebrations, corporate meetings and retreats and golf outings.The SentryWorld Private Events & Banquet team is seeking On-call Banquet Server to join the team. The team is looking for someone with a passion to deliver on our high standards for customer service, while working as part of a small, cohesive team. A professional and friendly demeanor is required.If you think you’d be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.What You’ll DoAs a Banquet Server you will:Ensure proper set-up of tables and bars in assigned meeting room according to Banquet Event OrderDeliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to meals, condiments and accompaniments.Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring guests needs on a continuous basisPromptly remove dishes from tables at conclusion of meal period and delivers to stewarding areaOpen and serve wine or alcoholic beverages as directed.Clean banquet rooms and banquet areas during and after functionsWhat it Takes Age requirement of 18+ requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experienceMust be able to obtain TIPS CertificationFamiliar with various types of services -plated, buffet, working lunches, etc.Knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishesExcellent communication skills, both verbally and written and customer service skillsAbility to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.Work extended/non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays as neededBe a great listener and team playerWhat You’ll ReceiveAs a member of our team, you are eligible to enjoy our rewarding benefits and perks including:Competitive Compensation to reward you for your hard workFree Wellness Center MembershipAssociate discounted meal and golf ratesAbout SentryWorldSentryWorld is the hospitality component of our business and is a tribute to our roots in the community of Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
