However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.Pay Rate Range: $50-75/hr.Position Summary: Acts as the onsite lead for operational delivery, ensuring compliance with laboratory policies and providing direct oversight of service desk, deskside support, and AV/VTC operations.Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like: Manage daily operations of onsite support teams, including Service Desk and Desktop Support.Ensure adherence to safety, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.Coordinate with Argonne or Fermilab service owners for incident resolution and project support.Oversee resource scheduling, training compliance, and inventory management.Serve as primary point of contact for onsite escalations and VIP supportRequired Qualifications: 7+ years in IT operations or technical support leadership.Strong understanding of desktop, AV/VTC, and networking environments.Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools.Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.Preferred Qualifications:ITIL Foundation certification (minimum).Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.Experience managing operations in a high-security or research environment.
